January Presentation with Alan Masters
Certified Floral Designer Alan Masters. Mr. Masters, presented “A Compendium of Caliginous Curiosities!” This consisted of Steampunk inspired floral arrangements, with gadgets, gears, and clockwork! We learned how to re-purpose many things we'd have considered junk to work in our floral arrangements. "Never throw anything away!" Thank you Alan Masters for this wonderful presentation and a great time!
Steampunk is Victorian meets Western meets Futuristic Sci-fi!
Here is Alan Masters all dressed up in a Steampunk themed outfit! Very classy!

Floral Friday Findings!!! Jan. 9th
Hey Everyone!!!! It's Floral Friday Findings!!!! For today's tip, I will send you to two different links that may help with the designs within this month. Apparently there is such a thing as a Flower Lore, meaning that certain flowers have a meaning!!! This month's flower is the beautiful carnation! Depending on the color, it could mean gratitude, refusal, flashy, remembrance, or cheerfulness! The aboutflowers link even shows the flower, color meaning, birth month for 12 flowers, and each state's flower!Who knew there were so many interesting facts about flowers!!! I certainly didn't! Check it out!
