February Presentation with Kim Jones

SAFD's presenter for February was Kim Jones of The Blooming Idea. Can you say we thoroughly enjoyed her presentation? Yes! So creative, and educational as well! In spite of Kim being nervous about her first ever presentation, we thought she did a wonderful job and enjoyed all of her unique designs and snippets of floral knowledge. Kim recommends a book for use floral design lovers- Steal Like an Artist. After all, we learn and borrow from all designs we see.

Here is the paper Kim asked us to all have so we can follow along with her designs! There are guidelines to floral designing. Once you know how, then you can venture off and "think outside the box" or I guess in this case "vase" ;)
